My wife's encounter with the Holy Spirit

I will pause for a while on posting on my next topic since I really need to write about this. I am sorry that I am busy thus can't update my blog. The topic on bible study tips will be covered next post.

Last Sunday, August 7,2016 was a normal day for me and my wife. We went to Church service at the normal time and there was even a small celebration afterwards (it was the 88th birthday of our pastor's father). I remember that it was raining very hard and we have to let the rain pass since my child still has a cough at that time.

We got home in the afternoon and after we had our regular bible time with the Lord I decided to take a nap. After dinner, we then proceeded to have our regular bible study time.

We had a very good discussion. After that, we had our closing prayer. We always pray for the people that we care for, that they will also discover God's gift as we did. After our prayer, I noticed something wrong with my wife.

Her uncle passed away around March this year. We weren't able to attend his funeral because it is in the province and it is very far. Not to mention that our baby is still quite young. I was already reading the bible but was still in my old faith. I can remember lighting candles and saying prayers for 5 or 6 days in the courtyard of the church.

When we discovered Christ, she asked the Lord to have one of his angels or he himself guide her to where her uncle is. If he is in heaven or in hell. Her purpose is that so that she can tell her folks about him. If he is in heaven, then no problem. But if he is in hell, well that'a a different story.

She told me that as we were praying, she felt a very warm presence in her. She felt the power of the Holy Spirit enter her body. Then she told me the news: the angel of the lord whispered in her ear that her uncle in not in heaven but in hell. Furthermore, the angel told him not to take her there so that she can;t hear his wails. She was about to cry. I was just as shocked as she is. We both prayed and thanked the Holy Spirit and the angel for the vision.

We felt a degree of responsibility. We should have told him about it. I know we haven't received Christ but there is still a degree of responsibility. I told her to tell her vision to our pastor the next day. When we prayed last night, we charged the Angels assigned to us to tell her mother and her aunt about the vision. If we can't save him now, at least we can tell those that are living of what happened to him.      

Please tell your loved ones that hell is real. If you are saved, try and tell them of this while they are still alive.

How I knew Jesus Christ

Why the TV remained off until now.....

When we began our journey with the Lord, the first thing that we did was to allot a time for him. I work from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m, then my wife takes care of our daughter. The TV was our main source of entertainment and information. If I am correct, it is open close to an average of 3 to 4 hours daily. On the weekends, it maybe even longer,though it is not non stop. I watch primarily the news programs and some documentaries. Of course, the occasional dramas. That was before we were both in Christ. One observation that we had when the TV was open was that we can't concentrate in our work. We would always check what's showing, thus our work is delayed. Also, I noticed that there isn't much a lot that improved on TV. The same news, the same dramas, the same documentaries, all giving what the masses wanted.
