Final Words and New blogs

My dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, I wish to thank you for taking the time to read my blog posts. Truly, I pray that I will serve as an inspiration to each one of you. I will always pray for all of you, that you may walk well in the path of salvation. I pray that you rely on Our Lord Jesus Christ for your daily needs, both in material and spiritual needs. Again, I am not doing this to boast of my writing abilities. I am doing doing this to reach out to souls that need God's salvation. If i can do it, then you can do too. Our God is a loving that that will look at the goodness of our souls, not our iniquities. Our God will provide us what we need. In closing our God loves us. I will be updating this page when I am already inspired by the Holy Spirit to write posts about scriptures and how it will reflect our lives, as well as a topic that a lot of us try to avoid: End Times. I will post the links in here. Again thank you for reading this blog and I pray that I will b...

Why we need to read the bible....Now!!!!

As I have promised, this is a supplementary to my previous post regarding conducting a bible study. I n this day of age, we mustn't just share in the study of the word of God, but we ourselves should also study the word of God. We must also have our own quiet time to read and understand God's word before it's too late. Too late for what? The world is getting more wicked day by day. More people love themselves and the things of this world more than God. There is already a great falling away. They are more concerned with the worries of this world more than God. Satan's throne is already in place for the New World Order under him. And with that, the persecution of Christians will now begin. The bible will be one of those books that we may never read when that time comes. In some countries like the USA (yes, the United States of America), bibles are not anymore allowed in public schools and libraries. There are already some persecutions for bible believers in there. I w...

How to have that time with the Lord...Bible study!!!!

We all watch TV almost the whole day. Before I became a christian the TV was on for an estimate of around 2 hours weekdays to around 4 hours on weekends. Of course, it's not non-stop. The TV became the main source of information for and entertainment for us. It was also a time for the family to bond. But what if we can sacrifice a couple of hours a day of TV....and replace it with bible study? That may not sit for most of us, but then let us think about. We spend very little time with our creator, who actually gave us all and more. Do we actually remember to pray and give thanks to him when we wake up, or before we go to bed? Yet we never forget our favorite TV programs' schedule. I can't stress the importance of studying God's word and the bible. I will cover the importance of studying the bible next post, but believe me if we really want to know who our Lord is and his plans for us is, then the bible is the way to go. Here's how my family conducted it. I hope ...

My wife's encounter with the Holy Spirit

I will pause for a while on posting on my next topic since I really need to write about this. I am sorry that I am busy thus can't update my blog. The topic on bible study tips will be covered next post. Last Sunday, August 7,2016 was a normal day for me and my wife. We went to Church service at the normal time and there was even a small celebration afterwards (it was the 88th birthday of our pastor's father). I remember that it was raining very hard and we have to let the rain pass since my child still has a cough at that time. We got home in the afternoon and after we had our regular bible time with the Lord I decided to take a nap. After dinner, we then proceeded to have our regular bible study time. We had a very good discussion. After that, we had our closing prayer. We always pray for the people that we care for, that they will also discover God's gift as we did. After our prayer, I noticed something wrong with my wife. Her uncle passed away around March this ...

Why the TV remained off until now.....

When we began our journey with the Lord, the first thing that we did was to allot a time for him. I work from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m, then my wife takes care of our daughter. The TV was our main source of entertainment and information. If I am correct, it is open close to an average of 3 to 4 hours daily. On the weekends, it maybe even longer, though it is not non stop. I watch primarily the news programs and some documentaries. Of course, the occasional dramas. That was before we were both in Christ. One observation that we had when the TV was open was that we can't concentrate in our work. We would always check what's showing, thus our work is delayed. Also, I noticed that there isn't much a lot that improved on TV. The same news, the same dramas, the same documentaries, all giving what the masses wanted. For a period of time, it got boring, since in my own opinion TV programs didn't get better but got worse.   The last program we both watched was an accidental drama t...

The changes in our lives: Being in God's community

Now that we have accepted Jesus Christ as our personal lord and savior, we are now ready to join God's community. Having left the old religion, my family had to be in a place for those that shared the same belief as we do. We then looked around until a co-worker suggested this church. We then prepared for our journey as new believers of the word. As we entered, we were greeted by a group of people very alive in worship. Then suddenly, we were filled with the Holy Spirit. We began to sing to the joyful praises. It was very different. I am very much happy with it. This was something very different from the way that I knew worship. Hymns and praises that penetrate the soul. It moves you. The main service, where the pastor now speaks is also very different. Bible verses were quoted, thus we are compelled to bring our bible. We were now more than eager to study God's word. Towards the end of the service, I was approached by a gentleman and told me if I was available for Bible st...

How I knew Jesus Christ

First of all my name is Brian Luciano,43 years old, an Online Teacher and a loving father and a husband. I am raised Catholic. I have always done what any Catholic will do, that is I go to church on Sundays, pray the rosary, etc. I thought I always had Christ with me. I also studied in a Catholic school in grade school, thus their doctrines stuck with me growing up. I was always a staunch defender of the Catholic religion. There were people that tried to convert me in the university but I am still deeply rooted in my religion. I believe that the Catholic faith is the real religion. It took me a long time a a very significant change in my life before I found him. I got married and had my first child in 2014. By 2015, my wife resigned from work thus leaving me the sole person to provide for my family. The mounting pressure of the only person to work proved too much for me that I wasn't able to meet the demands of my family. We were almost broke, and I blamed God for all my mischi...
